This place is amazing! The employees are SO friendly and helpful. I came to return a printer and did not have all of the information needed. They worked with me to solve my issue -- the customer service provided by Christian, Louis, and Hector was AMAZING. Finally, I love coming to a place where people actually know how to do their job well, understand the technology/hardware, and speak with knowledge!

The guy at the build your pc station was very patient with me i came in multiple times asking every question and he answered them all. I was going to buy a pc elsewhere because he handed me off to a sales guy and he said something that offended me. However i came back today to complete my purchase just because of the customer service the 1st guy gave me. I did not get this name but he is the only reason i came back to buy today. As for the sales guy i hope you have the day you deserve. (The new salesman who helped carry the pc out to the front thank you for not being to pushy on selling any upgrades.)

5 stars is not enough micro-center. It is the best shopping experience for anything tech wise. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they provide honest answers and recommendations and don't just push the big ticket. I will always shop here when I can.

We had an excellent experience at Micro Center! Josh A. helped us purchase our new monitor, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly and patiently. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely helpful and insightful. Thanks to Josh, we left feeling confident about our purchase and very satisfied with the service. Highly recommend working with him and will be back for future purchases.

I've visited this location 3 times in the last month. Bought my first 3d printer, filament & accessories. Everyone I interacted with had been friendly, professional and most importantly for me... Not pushy. If you're curious about this retailer, I recommend you swing by and give it a look.

Came in here last week just looking to get a new gaming computer and expected to be completely lost . Paul helped me from the beginning to the end and was very informed on all the computers. From someone that hasn’t been up to date with pc products in 8 years I found it really easy and seamless with the help of Paul. I came back a week later after I made my decision and Paul remembered everything we discussed and his help is what convinced me to take the leap and get a brand new pc. I would have never had bought a new pc and monitor if it wasn’t for the help Paul gave me .

I have been mostly happy with my computer parts purchases from Micro Center since 2008. This week, however, my love for the store was taken to a new level when Roddy D. from the Desktops department helped me get the GMKtec EVO-X2 at a discounted holiday sale. I showed up the previous day without my credit card and told him I would come later. I didn't. Instead, I came the following day, and the price had gone up $400. I asked him if he could help me honor the previous day's price. Roddy D. went out of his way to talk to his manager and they were able to help me. The cynic inside me says he did it so he could earn a commission. But I like to think that he did it because he's a good guy, and he could've gone with the higher commission of the new, higher sale price. Thank you, Roddy D. for taking the time to help me.

I tried to buy a new computer online and at a Best Buy store, but couldn't get certainty that what I was looking at was what I really wanted for my needs. Finally, despite a longer drive, I drove to microcenter at the suggestion of the best buy salesman. I got great help with all my questions and ended up with a better computer and screen, for less money... and a lot more confidence in my purchase.

I have shopped at Micro Center (Chicago) for well over 20 years. The service and support is always first-rate. I work in technology so need a lot of computing power - I don't buy my machines anywhere else. Every device I've purchased - including a Power Spec custom build, for which MY specs were kind of gnarly - has exceeded expectations. I just bought a new Thinkpad T16 for a great deal. The cashier (Owen?) helped me with my "old man problems" and retrieved it for me from online pickup. The transaction was seamless and a supervisor even thanked me (the grizzled old salesman in me was touched). Skip Amazon and dodgy resellers. It's worth the Cook County sales tax. Shop local at Micro Center - you won't regret it!
